According to CNET, Verizon Wireless plans to bring back its double 4G data promotion this Friday. Originally offered during the holiday shopping season last year, the double data promotion offers 4G LTE smartphone customers 4GB of data for the same price that usually gets 2GB of data - $30 per month. The promotion only applies to those with 4G LTE smartphones, so 3G users (including iPhone owners) will not be able to take advantage of it. Also launching on Friday is the Motorola DROID 4, which will be eligible for the promotion. Verizon Wireless did not provide a date as to when the promotion will end, but it did say that will be available for a limited time.
