Three Colorado companies this morning reported successful offerings that have raised more than $800 million in funds.

Level 3 Communications Inc. in Broomfield said its newly formed subsidiary Level 3 Escrow has completed a previously announced bond offering of $600 million in senior notes paying 8.13 percent interest.

Rare earth miner Molycorp Inc. priced a $200 million offering of convertible senior notes due in 2016. The notes, offered at 3.25 percent, are exempt from registration.

Gasco Energy also announced it raised $6 million in a public offering of 25 million units at $0.24 each. The units consist of one share of common stock and one warrant to purchase 0.75 of a share.
