Comcast removes Turner Classic Movies, angers ustomer

Re "Comcast stiffs fans of classic movies" (Editorial Notebook, Feb. 7): Thank you Ginger Rutland for so clearly articulating my thoughts regarding Comcast's decision to remove Turner Classic Movies from the full basic cable package.

For me, this problem has been ongoing with Comcast since I first subscribed in 1986. While the basic package offers a myriad of channels, I watch very few of them.

Turner Classic Movies was one channel I turned to often. It seems that Comcast continually removes channels on which I depend. And of course there is no reduction in cost despite the removal of channels.

I have not explored other options in the past because satellite TV does not offer the alternative PBS channel, another on which I highly depend. In light of this most recent change, I will most certainly be investigating other options and spending my money with a provider that is more customer responsive.
