Comcast annoys customers with 'bundling nonsense'

Re "Comcast stiffs fans of classic movies" (Editorial Notebook, Feb. 7): Ginger Rutland's column on TCM being removed from the Comcast Basic Lineup was spot-on. With the current cable lineup jammed with paid religion, home shopping and the exploits of the Rancho Cordova Sewage District, why kick our one classic movie channel into cable purgatory?

For that matter, why am I paying for the ESPN, which I never watch? Yes, the marketplace determines content, and the future will be in the form of a la carte cable structure, where we force the cable monopolies to untangle this channel bundling nonsense.
