Comcast, which telecasts Boston Celtics basketball games, said that its regional cable TV subscribers who are Boston Celtics fans will now have more access to basketball content.
Now in its fifth season, “Celtics on Demand” is designed to augment Comcast’s coverage of Celtics games and help fans to fully immerse themselves in the Celtics experience.
New “Celtics on Demand” offerings include a series of instructional videos produced in partnership with Element Productions and hosted by Celtics players and coaches, Philadelphia-based Comcast said. Fans can access the “Learn from the Pros” videos to get tips on a wide range of basketball skills throughout the season.
Another new feature enables fans to tune into replays of games within four hours of the game’s conclusion. Games are available on demand for 24 hours. Viewers have the ability to pause, fast forward, and rewind action from the game.
Existing “Celtics on Demand” features include profiles of Celtics players and segments on player appearances in the community.
“Celtics On Demand” is included in a subscriber’s monthly service fee.
